"Taiji originated in China, but it belongs to the world."
Grand Master Feng Zhiqiang 鈥檚
Established in 2008 by Master Martin Deng, the Australia Hunyuan Taiji Qigong Academy is authorised by the Bejing Hunyuan Taiji Center and offers from beginner to advanced level tuition. It regards Grandmaster Feng's 鈥檚 guiding rule as the fundamental principle of the Academy.
While designed for both health and self-defense, Taiji Qigong gives priority to the internal. While alternating movements with stillness, stillness is emphasised, and while simultaneously training the internal and the external, priority is given to the internal.
For those who are new to the practice of Qigong, it can be best considered a harmonisation of meditation, breathwork and movement.
The Hunyuan System
Balance Your Energies
Over the last three decades, Hunyuan Taiji (Tai Chi) Qigong has been the fastest growing exercise practiced in mainland China and some western countries. It is a complete system which represents the essence of traditional Taiji, Qigong, Taoism teachings, Chinese medical theory and martial arts. The system is composed of internal power exercises, Taijiquan forms, weapons, push-hands, and free sparring
Practicing Hunyuan Taiji Qigong is not just an exercise of physical wellbeing, but a learning process of ancient eastern philosophy and culture and development of a positive lifestyle.
The Hunyuan system is created by Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang. In his early life, he was trained by legendary Grandmaster Chen Fake, the 17th generation standard-bearer Chen Style Taijiquan, and Qigong master Hu Yaozhen, a renowned practitioner of Qigong and Xiyi-Liuhe Quan. After almost half a century of practicing and research, Grandmaster Feng created the Hunyuan Taiji Qigong System which expresses the principle of Qigong and Taiji and is now taught worldwide. Taiji originated in China, but it belongs to the world.
